2016
Founding of Walnut Ridge Farm
Walnut Ridge Farm was established in 2016 by the Wells’ family, who had a vision of creating a sustainable and ethical farm in Riceville, TN.
2020
Introduction of Beef Cattle
In 2020, we introduced our first herd of beef cattle, focusing on raising them with the highest standards of care and quality.
2021
Expansion to Poultry
We expanded our operations to include rare breed chickens, providing fresh eggs to our local community and affordable rare breed chicks.
2022
Introduction of Rabbits
We added rabbits to our farm, offering them as pets and ensuring they are raised with the same care and attention as our other animals. They also provide us with much needed fertilizer for our raised bed gardens.
2024
Land Aquisition
We added 45 acres to the farm. Our dreams are growing and our God is BIG!!!
2026
Air B & B
This beatutiful 2 – bedroom cottage will have you making memories with your family for years to come.

We buy fresh eggs and beef from Mark and Kelly. Given what is going on here, in n the world and all the chemicals in our air, water and food, we are happy to have fresh eggs and farm raised beef from a family we can trust. As they grow, I’m excited to see what else will be available!
